i did some photos today with my friend catherine.
i quite like them and was seeking comments on how to better my skills.
im only 16 after all and the comments from the big kids are real helpful ^^

You have to put [thumb] around the number, not [image]

As a very old kid (think grandpa :-) I hate it when you youngsters have so much talent!

Seriously, compositionally they are all very good to me and while there may be a need to pop some of the colours in the balloons and do a little bit of selective dodging in the shadow area, these are very good shots.

Nice work.

i really liek your march free study entry

you should try downloading neatimage, or noise ninja, both are great. but i think it would give that photo an extra edge.

love it though!

i took my favorite one and did some toutchups...i just brightened it up with a master level then did some spot leveling on face and umberlla, then dodged the top of the umbrella selected the background and put a slight gaussian blur to make toy dtand out and to soften the sky more...and just to let you know, I, also am 16 so its really not how old you are...its what you know.here is the pic

is your other photo its not a verry good edit...gust a gaussian blur behind a sharpen and some spot sharpening and blurring
