Just received a lighting kit, the monolights are supposed to be slaves and fire when another light fires. How does it work? I can't seem to get the lights to fire. Do I need a special attachment for my flash? It also came with a sync cord, but my camera/flash system doesn't have a plug. Can I get an adapter? I have a Canon 350D and a 420EX. |

You connect one monolight to your camera with a sync cord or wireless trigger (yes, you can get a hot-shoe adapter). When you take a shot, the sudden burst of light from the connected monolight triggers the other one to fire as well. |

I don't know the XT at all, but I don't think it has a PC connection in the camera. You could use a Wein Safe Sync to hook them up that way, or as Shannon said a wireless trigger. |
