HEE HEE ... just checking out my newly constructed light box that I made from a 17" computer monitor carton.
This is just my first experiment but I like the potential of it. I like it a LOT!
All C&C welcome ...

Well, technically, your nuts are in a pipe wrench!
Not quite the same ring to it though huh? |

A monkey wrench in lamens terms, so what you're really saying is your nuts are caught in the monkey wrench? Sounds rather terrifying! |

If you really want to be technical, its a Stillson wrench. |

The image is fun, although I think a walnut would have worked better (I know - working with what's available). :D
As for the new lightbox, the lighting looks well balanced. You're getting some nice side lighting (in a subtle way), and the subject is illuminated consistently without showing any harshness/blowouts. Would be interesting to see results with something that has a more reflective surface (glass, chrome, etc...).
Seems to be working just fine. Well done! |

This is a good start
I used that as inspiration for mine, then added removable side panels.
Rough idea of how it looks
and some idea of what you can do with spending $10
