I know it is not much of a "flying bird" picture, but you cannot know how happy I am to finaly know how to post one of these. Thanks steve pax.

I guess it's technically not still flying, but it's the only one I have worth showing other people =)

Consider requesting a critique from the critique club. It would pose a good exercise in both essence AND tact, don't you think? ;-)

Hey, it's a great example of "re-purposing" what could otherwise have been a glitch ("great sunset, except I wish that bird hadn't flown into the frame") into a positive ....

eh folks,

I understand the points, but really, I've wanted to post a picture in these forums for quite awhile and I couldn't figure it out (even reading the tutorials). Anyway, in another thread, Steve Pax saw where I was strugling to get a post and both did it for me and told me what numbers to use. Well, I was just plumb tickled to have learned a new thing and up pops this thread. Opportunity knocked. What can I say.

I've just recently started getting into nature photography, and this is my first bird in flight shot.
