| Does anyone know of a filter (the kind you screw on, not photoshop)that will desaturate an image to make it appear black and white even though it is taken in color? Does such a thing exist? |

I have seen some sepia filters but not b/w.

Only a lens cap seems to have that effect.

FWIW, if you are shooting with a view to converting to monochrome it may be worth using a Wratten #90 filter to enable you to view the contrast. This is a deep brown filter that simulates the tonal differences captured in B&W photography.
