That's a bit harsh, especially considering the sheer number of entries nowadays. If the entries weren't presented in a different order to every voter then what you say would be true, but they are, so nobody is missing out on greatness.
Commenting is also a great educational aid for the commenter. Why deny that to people who don't have all the free time in the world?
