Hi
Just had a browse, Loads decent enough and looks OK the only thing i dont like and looks out of place is the Blue home button when the rest of the site is Grey?

Your gallery is good and loads with enough speed to keep the viewer around.

Well done.

Hi

I love the web-site. The first image I saw when I accessed was the portrait of the blue eyed woman with the blue top half covering her face. WOW what a stunning visual welcome (And yes I am green with envy)

One question...I have been toying with the idea of setting up a site myself (possibly with some very minor commercial use but generally to display pictures) I notice that you have got it set up so you cannot right click on images (which I presume is to stop people pinching them. I thought that was a great idea as you dont spoil the image with copyright text or a watermark. So how do you do that (and is it foolproof?)

Also thanks for the stock photography tip on site (though I feel mine will have to improve somehwat before I consider submitting to it)

Good job and best of luck with the site

Jon

Hey Jon - Well First of all i think cancelling the right click is the bestway.. about how to do it - ill send in few moments the code for it..

about stealing my pictures.. well i guess if somebody really wants he will take your shots.. watermark or not.. but if you put on the web maximum of 30K picture that is 500 px on 300 px then he cant do much with it can he?

so i guess that would be the best solution.. i dont like the water mark thing and if you want i can put the code for it too..

thx for your kind words..

good luck with your site.. send me the link

well Jon - For the right click mouse.. the easiest way is to make a var lets say "right click button" and make a connection between every Html sheet your making to a java pop up file. then at the begining of the page (java) just make a yes/no statement for right click /yes or no so you can change it later and make the var of right click connected to a new var "right click_text" and connect any text you want to the "new " var you made

same system good for watermark although there you should build a size var so you can change it in the site too..

if you have no idea what im talking about its fine coz its programming stuff.. once you need code lines just send me a message and we'll do the GREAT SYSTEM OF "COPY" AND "PASTE"

hope i helped...

Blimey...Thanks for that although I have to admit quite a bit of it went over my head.

Proposed web site is still very much in embryonic stages but I will let you know as this progresses

Thank you for taking the time to let me know and once again, congrats on a great site

Wow, what a great gallery you have! I really love your photos, and your website is a nice, clean, user friendly presentation of your work. Great job! I'm building my website now, and this gives me something to aspire to.
