Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM

I bought a new lens the other day, the Canon 17-40mm USM, and I went out of the city to capture some landscapes. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!

These shots are great. The first one is my favorite of the bunch. I bet you got a good one in the Ice Challange.

I didn't post that one in the Ice challenge. Maybe I should have :)

But I highly recommend this LENS... !!

Looks like a good lens. I have been shopping around for some new lenses. That one is a little out of my price range right now. I am going to keep it in mind for the future though.

I did just order the 50mm 1.8 lens yesterday. Just waiting on it to get here.

I already have that one. The 50mm.
The bokeh on that one is amazing... when you use the manual function and open the lens to the highest level which is about 17,8 mm or f/1.8 the bokeh really makes an impact on the picture.

The only thing I see wrong with it is the difficulty of focusing. The DOF becomes so small that you have to be VERY precise. But thats not going to be a problem is it?

We all like challenges. That's why we chose this site! :)
