This image by Tranquil is very much in the Ansel Adams mode without in any way imitating him; it's a matter of tonalities...

I usually reserve b/w for nature shots (don't know why, just when the idea usually strikes), but recently I've been trying to throw some people in. Here are three recent ones I took in Paris that I think came out pretty good.
