I don't know how many people in the UK are aware of this, it has just been brought to my attention, but there is an online petition regarding proposals to stop people taking photographs in public places.

That would certainly cramp peoples style on Street Photography challenges :- )

There's a previous thread on this -- as I understand it the petition is primarily a publicity stunt, as there is no pending legislation threatening photographers' rights in the UK.

Hey they do it and i can guarantee you tourism goes down. I sure as hell would NEVER visit a place i cant bring my camera and use it.
