Can any aussie recommend an online store that they are happy with.

hey Lisa,
When buying my 5d and 17-40l i wasnt too keen to buy it over the net so I shopped around. And to complete surprise JB HIFI came up with the best price BY FAR. when I went to other camera store they said there was no way they would match the price. Same price if not cheaper than online and the security of actually dealing with people.

yep they sell everything but don't stock that much. In melbourne there is actually a "jg hifi budget camera's" store in the city. I found the staff didnt know that much but i knew what i wanted so it didnt matter. they rely on big turnover.

Quality Camera Sales is who I normally use. Stu who runs it is a really nice bloke too and he's an all Canon man so he does do the L lenses. Definately worth a look Lisa!

Hi Lisa

There is a place at North Sydney that I have bought my 5d and 2 L lens from, he runs an internet business or you can collect from him direct. I'll give you the details tomorrow

Yeah...remember....horse and cart usually have whips...so you had better run real fast.

I have bought a number of items from Quality Camera Sales and found them to be very good. No, they're not the cheapest in all situations, but competitive and have a great range. Whenever I have bought, it is dispatched at the earliest oppotuntity and you have it within days.

I don't mind paying a few extra dollars to have the piece of mind that I will have it in my grubby little hands and taking bad photos as soon as possible
