Probably a 6.
I like your composition, foreground vs background and lighting.
But the roses look way overprocessed, out of focus or badly sharpened.

hmmm... I like the idea but I too agree that it seems overexposed. Looks like there is dust on the roses. Plus it lacks a bit of pizazz, you know? Just my opinion. I do like the arrangement and there is a sense that ou are trying to portray that roses represent love, which I agree with. I would give it a 5

I came across these roses while shopping the other day, they have glitter on them and I thought they were quite pretty, but I suppose not knowing what it is it probably does appear as dust in the picture.

Thanks for the comments.

Exactly what I was thinking, the overall shot is wonderful, the composition, the lighting, the entire set up but the roses just look weird for some reason, not sure if it's the glitter that causes it or the lighting on the glitter. I would have given it a 5 or 6

I like the choice of roses for a subject, because I'm hopelessly romantic and, at the same time, would welcome the challenge to avoid a cliché.

I agree, on most points, with Azrifel but also feel the composition is compromised by either a too parsimonious crop (top left and bottom) or a too generous one, depending on your sense.

The decor (heart-shaped wire box with bow), I am sorry to say, affronts my personal taste (and my sense of what roses are and stand for) to the point of bias.

I would give this photo a 2.
