I have uploaded to my portfolio 3 versions of a football photo. One is the full size original. The other two have been downsized using different programs. I can't tell much difference myself but am not sure if I should trust my eyes or my monitor. Can anyone detect any difference? Which looks best on your monitor?

The original has the best definition and saturation.
The 409KB is next best.

I see a slight difference in the color. Like zeuszen said, the original's saturation is better. I really could only notice on the red helmet though. They all seem pretty much the same to me.

Exactlly what zeuzen said. I can quite easily tell the difference in the texture of the grass and the edge of the white markings, the original looks sharper. |

I think the original one looks better than all 3 and if you choose one downsized the 2nd looked better, slight differents in the texture and clearness of the grass. Great shot!
