I'm going to NY and will want to shop for a new Speedlight 420EX flash unit. Where's the best place to go?
Also does anybody have some suggestions for some places to get some good photo opps.
I haven't been to NY in almost 20 years. It's going to be great!

Must go to B&H Photo, on 33st and 9th avenue. Huge store with
lots of choices. (no I don't work for them)

I made a beeline to B&H when I was there in August. Be prepared to spend a few hours (and a few thousand dollars. :) )
Be sure to trek upstairs to the used room. Not a ton of used digital stuff, but LOTS of goodies.
Next time I'm going to drive so that I can actually buy more things AND get them home. :) |

| I am thinking about buying that same model. Canon had a $15 rebate on it for a while, may still. It goes for about $165-175 new on eBay. Would love to know what price you find for it in NYC. |

| That's pretty easy as far as gear I think, B&H Photo. As fars as the photo op's, man the skys' the limit there. I know I would try at least going for a night shot from the Statue back on Mannhattan, and maybe another from atop a Park Ave bldg back on the same. Then there are so many other things there to grab! |
