hi guys
If you're a microstock contributor, I strongly recommend you look at ProStockMaster.
I've been on DPC forever it seems and I've never recommended a product before. But this one is an exception. I've been a microstock contributor for roughly 2 years now and I now make it my main source of income. When I looked at the ProStockMaster's Website, it kinda looked amateur (it still does) but what the software stated it could do was worth a shot.
All I can tell you is WOW! Just the fact that I can upload "ftp-like" to Istock is amazing and in the few weeks that I've had the software it's paid for itself in time saved! It even adds a default category so that your images go straight into the review queue instead of pending!!! You can upload to 8 micros back to back. Just click and go! It even has your stats and other features I haven't checked out yet like an image search and keyword help features.
I know this sounds like a cheesy infomercial but trust me on this. This is a great little product and at $50 it's a steal IMHO. You can even try it out for free!
I had a small issue with Fotolia uploads and I went back and forth with customer service until we found the bug. They were awesome.
My reputation is on the line so I wouldn't recommend it if I truly didn't believe it would help you guys out.
Yes, I joined their affiliate program and the link is my referral link.
I hope you'll find this little gem to be as great a time saver as I have.
Yanik

Hi,
I afraid it doesn't support proxy server with authentication.
I appreciate your efforts.

Nilesh.

Well worth the money for sure!

here's the response I got. All's good for us! :-)
Hi Yanik,
There is nothing about security. The phrase you quote means that a person can not use ProStockMaster behind a proxy server which requires authentication.
It could be a situation if someone wants to upload files from his office computer and this computer access the Internet through a proxy which requires username and password. In this case ProStockMaster just “does not know” username/password for that proxy server and therefore it can not access Internet. I would say that this is a quite exotic case. Probably, we will implement this “access-through-a-proxy” mode in some later version, but at the moment there was just one person who asked for that.
Hope this helps
Best regards,
David

FWIW, pretty much anyone in a corporate environment, at least in a company employing more than a few people and running an e-mail server, will be behind a proxy server. It's not normally a great idea to use your company's bandwidth in this manner, though I know a lot of people do it, especially those with no high-speed access available at home. |

I tried this software and didn't like it. Any one know of any other pieces of software out there?
