It's really difficult to pick out some pictures as your best, but these two seem to be quite popular at DPC without me having posted them in a forum:

My callibration was out quite a lot when I uploaded these though... I intended them to be a lot less dark.

And, like Quadrajet, I also think one of my best images is being voted on at the moment.

I think this is one of my best.

This is my favorite image so far...

Tina, is this in Antelope Canyon? I recently saw a photo much like yours at contrast masking I think I like your better!

I was just sitting here looking at that picture saying "that looks exactly like the river at Oxbow Park...there's the gravel road and..." I then looked and saw that it was taken in (or at least near) Rochester, MN.

Small world!

You are right, Oxbow Park... I am amazed that anybody on dpchallenge would recogonize that!

This is one of my all time faves. It represents the first picture I took using a technique, at the time, I hadnt seen before. The original looks pretty much just like this out of the cam. This version is DPC legal, but I have a printed version I did, with some small spot editing.

And this shot has been PS'ed to remove a shore line, and two motor boats. I also masked the flag so it would remain in color.

I have a lot of images that I feel are real good, but this one has stood above the rest.

I was wondering if you were going to post something...I'm glad you chose this one. It's been my favorite since I first saw it and has graced my desktop for months.

However, it's not really much of a Thanksgiving theme...got anything for that??? ;-)

I've always been fond of this one that I shot on the Isle of Capri in Italy. It's from 1995, so it's a scan... someday I want to put a little time into scanning it a little better.

Good morning. There are some amazing pictures posted. I'm so jealous! More, more, more.

Wouldn't say this is my best shot, but it is the one I like the best at the moment. I like the soft pastel colors of the sky and fog. I also like it because I love to fish and this just seemed like a great place to be. So peaceful and beautiful!

I have my favourite shots here //www.pbase.com/gordonmcgregor/pictures

But I would say that this is my personal favourite,( though not dpc-legal):

Can I sidetrack this for a second to see if people think we should ask for a new site gallery, "Photographer's Choice," to which we can each contribute our best shot?

Gallery entries can be edited by the photographer at any time. It's too long a title and possibly confusing to viewers to call it Photographer's Current Favorite.

maybe not my all time favorite photo - but my favorite
off my new camera so far.
as an 8x10 print you can see all the details of the ground through the
water droplets.

Maybe have a check box in your portfolio for your current 'fav'
Those could all be pulled together in one central gallery...

I think that's a good idea, it would then provide a place to showcase one shot of your own work which does not neccesarily have to be from a challenge.

For the record, here's my current favorite......
