many people are commenting that the focus was soft on my Extreme Close Up...that I used a soft focus filter to take.

This was my first entry on this site and I did not realize they do not show your additional comments...I noted the soft focus filter there.

You must be talking about an entry that is still being voted on. You're not supposed to discuss those until after the challenge is over. But yeah, no one can see your comments until after voting, so they wouldn't have known what filters or camera settings you used.
