OK, just got back home, heres the first pic to be posted, wlil need to go through them, but dont want to post the really good ones yet as there may be a few free study ones in there.

So here is a shot of Legalbeagle and Bob Bobski "in action"...

Fanatstic morning, lovely meeting everyone, the mist and golden light in the park this morning really was magical. I will defintely be going back at some point... loads more images to follow I am sure.. Legalbeagle took the group shot so that will be up for your enjoyment later as well..

Going to jump in the bath now, it got a bit dirty (walking around the park, not with each other).

Once again, thanks to everyone who turned up, I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did, and kudos to MAK for sorting it all out..

Back home too, looking through my shots, definitely liking the ones we took at the beginning of the day when the light and mist were just perfect. MAK, thanks for organising this one, was great fun! :o)

Where'd you guys go onto afterwards. I agree, the shots from early in the morning are by far the best ones, we were spoilt with that light/fog.

Chatting to Alex before I left, he said that to get real close to the deer you literally have to get down to ground level and crawl along so they dont freak out.. I guess having a bunch of people walking around with big white lenses didnt help.

After you left we wandered towards the Plantation area, and shot some fallow deer in the woods and more "normal" deer (dunno their species) just beyond there. And as for getting close... there was one buck that starting going a little playful rutting up against one or two of the DPCers ;o) Photos to follow, of course!

I love this one, it is a fantastically lucky capture of the rare Shadowy Photog during rutting season. This timid and elusive beast has only been spotted once before in Richmond Park, especially during the rut, the only previous sighting was in the Dog and Duck pub.

Looks like everyone had a great time, sorry to have missed out this time.

I thought Manic was good at this photo stuff, but here he is trying to figure out where to put the CF card ;-)
