I suck at it, but it's fun. I wish I didn't have to do so many training camps in the hall of fame mode.

well, maybe not suck; but there is room for improvement. Especially my running game.

It drives me crazy how poor the kick/punt return AI is for the blockers. Often times I'll have 3 tacklers arriving at my return guy before the ball gets there!

Are you guys kidding, I wish the game was tougher. I've had two seasons of 19-0. My running back had one season of 3068 yards, the next, 3069. My LE had had two seasons of 320 sacks. I love this game and play almost everynight. I do however agree that the return guys get hosed. I've only returned 3 for touchdowns.

No it was Tatum Bell. He isn't very big but is very fast. My LE is Ebenezer Ekuban (sp). Sorry, just noticed I put 320 sacks, it was really 32.

Never. The only football game I have that I've done it in is BLITZ. With Madden I don't even try anymore.

I am horrible at it too. I have the PS3 version but basically the same thing. I always get a football game so that when "the guys" come over we have a party game even for the non-geeks. I love it, but I ALWAYS get creamed.

what game mode are in putting up all those numbers in?..

I have blocked punts when the other team is backed up and punting from the endzone. I have also been able to block extra points afew times.

Something else I don't get -- when you use use the strip ball (L2 or L3) do you hold it down, or tap it repeatedly? When do you push the button?

On the line, when you try to swim one way or the other, do you use the stick to say which way?

use it when you are about to tackle the ball carrier... I get called for facemasking quite a bit, I prefer the hit stick.

Don't know much about the stripping part. But for the swim move I just use L1 or L2, depending on which I need to go. I also hit x repeatedly to get the extra speed out of the big guys. I also play franchise.

I play on all pro because I don't like the passing on all madden. So I bump up the AI on all pro.

Hold it down, or tap it once, more than once?

I hear you on the pass coverage in all-madden.

I don't use it much and haven't had that much success with it, try different variations. I usually hold it down but like I said I get flagged for a facemask... Do practice mode for kickoff coverage and try tapping it and holding it to see what works best for you. You may miss the tackle when going for the ball also.
