| I'm afraid I'm out of this one. :( Maybe one or two though, but I can't commit to another thirty days on the heels of the recent SP challenge. |

I actually thought about starting a thread on this very subject.
But I didn't think it would get much response.

I'm actually pretty excited about this challenge. I had to actualy leave the basement today to go to the store and found myself thinking most of the way home things like...
where I live the trees all look dead right now
where I live there is a church every few blocks
where I live there are mountains almost every direction you look
where I live 2 lane roads are the norm
where I live is growing very quickly
etc etc...

from my experience in the 30 day pet portrait challenge: anything goes!
the challenge isn't official and there is no voting nor are there any ribbons.
so you can basically shoot whatever you want, whenever you want!!!

I'm not 100% sure if I'm in, but if so...could that be 30 day "where I work"? +"where I live"? The point is that during the week I spend almost all of time at work, so no way I can get a pic from where I live (except inside the apartment, but that would become booooring pretty fast). So only on weekends i can get pics from where I live. Well, given that I'm in Belgium and that that's a small country, 40 km in between home and work would be like "my neighborhood" right? :P

I would so have loved to do this but I am off to Arizona for 3 days on work which kind of stiffs this for me - Boo Hoo. Maybe When I can get back I can start a thread of 30 days where ever you are?

It's all for fun. There are no rules. :)
With that said, it's nice if you can participate daily in the challenge and can comment on the other photos in the challenge.
It's a great way to learn and you might be surprised just how much you can improve during one of these 30 day things. |

xxrozxx and juliep (and anyone else I missed): these 30-day challenges are just fun projects, not official things with rules. Post as much as you can and enjoy yourself. :) If you miss a day, no big deal (for example, I did all 30 days on time for the Sep. self-portrait challenge, but I've only put up 6 or so for the current one).
I think we're getting started with this one on Feb. 1.
