As long as it's posted in this forum (which I presume it will be) then you don't have to be a member. It's all for fun so feel free to join in :)

I would like it, but 30 days is too short. I'm trying to do a walk around the whole country. Main problem: time! (have to work also).

And sometimes you have some other problems:

There is no beauty in winter rain. Give me some snow, please. I am still out of sorts (after 22 years) and miss the midwest snow.

Shanny,

I would like a shot at this challenge. I am a relatively new memmber of DPC and I think this would be a good way for me to get to know some more of my fellow members. Just let me know what I need to do and I'll do my best.

Thanks,

Steve

lol - I just have so little time, all I would do is bail out anyway.
Haven't taken any since New Year's Eve, and that was only a couple crappy fireworks pics.

GREAT! We'll start on February 1st. All you have to do is take a picture of where you live (to any extent) and post it here each day :). It's really laid back... so if you miss a day or two or would like to throw in an extra shot every now and again so be it :) Do you have a membership? If not you'll need to use an outside image hoster for your photos.

Thanks,

Is there a size restriction? Also, is there a thread that talks about hot to post images on the forum? Or do I post it to my profile page?

I'll give it a shot...Houston area is sooooo diverse.

Maybe scarbird can help me show it off???

I'm not any good with any photos other than my passion of birds.

But, count me in.

Scarlet - hope you don't mind but I'd like to be in too - I'm from Victoria, Australia though, so it's not like we'll be stepping into each others frames - GRIN!

My first real commitment for 2007 - I'm really excited!

OK...I just became an official paying member!! I'd like to get in on this if I could.

Count me in. I need some inspiration. I've done very little so far this year. Last year my most creative period was during the 30 day macro challenge, so maybe this one will work out just as well.

In your portfolio, no dimension may be longer than 800 pixels. Other than this restriction, there is no size limit.

To post a portfolio photograph in the forum:

Open up the portfolio photograph and find the image-id number. This is in the web browser's url at the end. For example, for your perspective IV photograph, the image-id is 430047.

When you post a reply in a forum thread, you will see 6 icons at the top left corner. The second icon from the right allows you to input an image-id number and will result in a thumbnail post of your image.

For example, - your image.

When someone clicks on the thumbnail, the image will open to full size.
