We spend approximately 8 years of our life in/on the toilet and i would guess another 15 in front of the blasted TV.

I do not own a TV but I am guilty on the toilet thing, and YES i leave the seat up.

Here's my question to all the toilet seat pictures. I know that the ladies are annoyed when the toilet seat is left up, but isn't it the lesser of two evils compared to leaving it down all the time? I would think you wouldn't want to sit on the seat if that was the case...

So that leaves 75 other images in the challenge --- didn't you notice those?

Hey, if you don't like looking at toilets, you have at least 6 opportunities to change the channel. ;-P

I had a terrible time with the toilet seat thing until recently. We bought a really cool toilet seat that had a tiled/mosaic look to it. As such the "pretty" part of the lid needed to be down to fully appreciate it. I agree with the idea in terms of manners/politeness but not in terms of practicality.
I hold doors open for people. I put the seat down for the ladies. The whole argument thought that they will "fall in during the night" or at least sit on cold porcelain doesn't fly with me. I fell in when I was 3. I don't recall doing it since. There might have been some inebriated moments where I endeavoured to go in head first but I STILL have yet to fall in.

:)
