Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM for Canon

Greetings to everyone...

Earlier, we discussed the possibility of a southeastern get-together for any DPC users who wish to attend. I would like to start formalizing this event and collect a tally of people who plan to attend.

The official meet day will be on Saturday, April 17, 2004 in Savannah, Georgia. I plan to be in Savannah from Thrusday, April 15, through Sunday, April 18. Anyone who wants to attend should feel free to come early or stay late.

If you definitely plan to attend, please let me know so I can start a tally sheet.

I will start listing possible activities and events shortly...

I'm interested in attending. Hopefully I'll have my car fixed by then, and if I have a functional car I'm pretty sure I'll be able to come. I'm in Durham, NC :)

Bernard and I would like to, but we will have to see what our situation looks like closer to then. Can you put us on a maybe list?

I'm planning a wedding and honeymoon for March or April, but Savannah is on our list of possible locations ;P Can you imagine inviting a bunch of photographers to your wedding? Everyone could practice, and I wouldn't have to hire someone :P

Anyone else interested? I'd sure like to meet as many DPC'ers as possible at one time, especially if we're coming over from Germany for it. There is still over 5 months till the meet, so plenty of time to plan for it.

Do I see anymore hands?

I think I'll come down for that. Not sure if we'll bring the family along with a 1 year old but put at least 1 down and maybe 3.

I would love to meet up with everyone but don't see it possible this time around, if there is ever a gathering in the midwest Nebraska area count me in, but I don't think there are many dpcer's from around here.

Count us ( GeeGee and hbilly) in for this meeting. It will be great to meet some of you in person.

I almost missed this, what with not being on DPC much in the last few weeka.
Have had lots of things going on in my family. My husband, hbilly, has had retina
surgery. My son has had knee surgery. As a result of all this I have had my mind on other things.

There is plenty to see and do in Savannah...

The official 'meet' day will be Saturday, April 17, 2004. I'm sure plenty of people will want to come early, and I plan to go down on Thursday prior to that and be in Savannah by early afternoon sometime. It's about a 7 hour drive from here.
