My shot meant more to me emotionally too. I even pointed out a couple of the things that were technically wrong in the description. So i could care less about the score. It's sitting at a 5.2 and I'm perfectly content with that. The only thing that'll piss me off is if i start getting those DNMC comments....I hate those things. haha. Just to clarify before i get DNMC comments in the forum...it's not my best technical shot...but my best overall shot by the emotion it evokes from me......and that therefore meets the challenge description...lol. |

Same here. I went with the pic with the most emotional impact. Sadly, it seems to be getting rather typical 'eschelar' scores...

I went with something that meant a lot to me on this one. It's technically OK (not great), but evidently isn't connecting with voters. I needed a 6.01 on this entry to score an average 6+ on my last 25. Oh well...

For the first time in my DPC life, I think I chose the wrong picture... :( and that`s bad because now I will not stop asking myself "how would I scored with the other"... That sucks :( ....

well I did the same. I actually liked it, and have said to myself this year to subm,it what "I" like. 6.64 now

You`ll see... that`s the problem with mine... actually I think I like the one i didnt submit better... It would not be on ribbonland either but.. well I don`t know, maybe I would have been asking the same if I have submited that and not this one.. When the challenge is over I will ask...

Almost a Personal Best for me. Unfortunately, I think I am losing a lot of points because my subject has been photographed and submited to DPC quite a few times. I guess I expected voters would be tired of seeing this location, but I was hoping they would vote the image and not the location. Regardless, I hope I can still manage a PB.

After a miserable start last night (it went as low as 5.1), it has crept up this morning. Had some nice comments too and a favourite! Hope it doesn't slide back down to this morning's miserable level again.
