Yep, but I would suggest making it invisible while the challenge is up as that is the normal etiquette.

I'm guessing that quite a lot of photos in the challenge will have been posted previously. Mine is, but it only had 100 views and most of them were 9 months ago so I can't see it being a problem. But it has been removed from public view now.

I just reworked one that had been in the portfolio, but I hid it a few days ago so maybe the new version will be looked at with new eyes. ;~D |

Do people vote ones down that they had seen in a portfolio? I would not hold that against a person.
I hid one, and am hoping that I don't get slaughtered for it, but it was my best or at least my favorite of 06'! |

Umm, Lesley? Aren't most of your photos fav'd? :-) Seriously, though, I'm using one that's been in my portfolio and has actual honest-to-goodness favorites, so I say go for it. (I don't want to be the only one, so really, go for it.)
And in a way, I think it will be fun to see shots again that we already liked in the first place - kinda like a Year in Review, sorta. |

Just hide it /them till the challenge is over.
I suspect as it has been in the past, many/most will forget who's was who's anyway.
Heck folks forget who's ribbon-winning shot got DQ'd off the front page the day before...

What she said. Besides even if Lesley entered something completely new we'd still recognize it's her work. |
