I want to welcome two new members to the team this year, smyk and Sunshine86. Here is how our team shakes up for the new season:

yanko captain
IreneM
cheegirl
skiprow
guroos
smyk
Sunshine86

Sherpet requested to be replace because she felt she wouldn't be able to remain active and Trumpeteer4 left us early in season 3. So that's our team. It'll be tough to match the success we've had this season but I feel our team is pretty strong going forward and is capable of anything. Btw, Sunshine86 and smyk let me know what photos you want to use for your cards. If you prefer to do your own that's fine just let me know one way or the other.

Oh I almost forgot, congrats to Sunshine86 for his ribbon winning entry this week:

As you know I decided to retire from the WPL4, due to family commitments.

I wish you all the very best for the next season, and will always support you all 110%..... I increased my average quite a lot, due to this WPL3 season, so I am very pleased with that.

Welcome to the new members, smyk & Sunshine86 and you will have a blast with this team.

I thank my dear DPC "Outcast" friends, and captain, yanko for all there support. I also will miss the other two guys on the team as well re skiprow & guroos

Especially cheegirl & IreneM as us three girls really "Rock"..... I am really going to miss you all.

Lete hope the "Outcasts" win the WPL3 re the finals.....

You know what i love about DPC? Is how close people seem to be getting despite the fact that none of us actually know each other really. Crazy bonding this photography addiction is. Too bad there aren't any DPCers in Warsaw... :( At least in Montreal I had labuda, peete and JohnnyBB.

Oh well. New place, new epxerience new people to meet.

So we are on for the BW portrait right? as in WPL4?

Just a quick message of thank to all my "Outcast" team, for the wonderful support you have given me and Peter, re our recent health issues re Peters prostrate cancer.

Here is a update copy, of what I said, in a recent DPC thread for you to read.

Well the time has come for us to fly to Sydney this Saturday, the 10th February, to start Peters prostrate cancer treatment, on the 12th February, at Saint Vincents hospital. We will be away from home for two to three months. I think my dear husband just wants to already be there, so that it can all finally start the treatment, as it has now been over three to four months since we first found out.

I am just so proud of him, as the first couple of months were so hard for him, to come to terms with it all. He has now lost 5 kilos, since last month, due to a better diet, and walking each and everyday. He is definately my hero.

I received a lap top computer from my sister yesterday, to take with us while away. I will now be able to still do my photography while away. Today, I had the technician out, to work out the best way for my internet service. We decided that since I have the laptop I would be better using Cafe Internet Services, so save all the drama with bigpond and dodo. I will then connect regually, when I need to upload or check scores etc. We are both a little scared, but also excited as well. It is a big thing we are doing as any change is very hard for me, re all my medical equitment, that I need, and have to take with us.

The family have rented a wonderful appartment for us for the time we are away. We will be at Darlinghurst, only 400 meters walking distance from the hospital. Peters sister is flying in from Perth, Western Australia, to be with us for ten days, which has made Peter very happy, as they are very close.

Our first grandchild is due on by cesserian of the 16th February. Our daughter-in-law is of short stature, like us, and is carrying an average size baby. We are so blessed that she has now managed to carry the baby nearly full term. Due to Peters treatment, we may not see the baby for awhile, but hope to some time either during our stay in Sydney, or after the treatment is finished, as they live in Melbourne.

What I like is for anyone who wants to catch up with us, during our stay in Sydney, to please email me now before we leave. I will contact them to give them our mobile number, so they can contact us. I got the numbers of the ones who I have already contacted, and so look forward to catching up with most of you, at the Sydney get together, on the 22nd February as planned.

I just hope me and my whellie will get there, as I certainly want to be there. I look forward to hopefully taking some wonderful photos while away. I hope we can still keep in touch and all goes as planned.

Thank you for listening me rambling on, but can't believe the time has finally come for us to do this at last.
Thanks for all your wonderful support.

Many thanks once again for your support, and "Way to go Outcasts"
love from shez

Was an "Outcast" and always will be an "Outcast".

While it wouldn't have effected the outcome of our week 1 matchup it still would have been a bummer to see you lose that ribbon. So from the looks of it you and Irene have carried the team over the last two weeks. I need to pick things up. Hopefully my Hate entry is a good sign. It started out at 5.2 at 7 votes but it's at 6.26 now.

Btw, Thanks Marac. Good luck the rest of the way.
