This is the first shot that I worked on for the Alone challenge. I didn't think it popped, what do you think?

What would the title be .... "Someone stole my photo!" or "What was I thinking when I bought that wallpaper!".

Joking aside, I really like it as an entry, it would have scored well with me :) I like the placing of the frame particularly (rule of thirds I guess, as I recently learned).

I actually had one somewhere that I had desaturated all but the frame color but after all the recent threads...

This one might have received a "5" from me. Picture is well shot doesn't really say "alone" to me. The shots in the challenge that had subjects that was too close to the frame or edge probably lost points for feeling confining.

On your entry I gave you a "7" it gives off more of an "alone feeling. If you were to use more light maybe more people would've given you a higher score, but at the same time more people would've given you a lower score because it would've been more revealing ;)lol.

Maybe taking the shot from further away would also help in giving it a more of an "alone" feeling.

Your pictures are getting better and better. Quite a bit of improvement in your shots.

Thank you for the compliment. I am learning a lot from comments from people like you here. I also like to believe that I'm turning those comments into better shots and it really feels good to hear that it seems to be working!
