What would you like to achieve at DPChallenge in 2007?
At the end of 2007 we can see how many we accomplished.
Here are a few of mine.
1. Average Score Received: 5.5000 or greater
2. Enter 100 challenges
3. Vote and comment more
4. Score higher than 7.0000
5. Ribbon

On my profile:
My 2007 DPC Goals In no specific order:
1) Renew my membership or write twelve tutorials - Thank you  Rex for the Gift, but I'll continue to write tutorials.
2) Score a 7.*
3) Top 5
4) Ribbon
5) Get a date with Cindi :-)

Mine. I copied one from Fotomann but added a little twist.
Ok what the hell let's put some goals up here for 2007:
1: Enter at least 25 Challenges this year
2: Get my comments given above 2500
3: Do a full 30 Day Self Portrait Challenge
4: Do a Candid Side Challenge (More to come on this)
5: Meet more DPC'ers at some GTGs
6: Be selected as a favorite by at least 50 people and have at least 50 favorited photos. Then I can be in the 50/50 Club
7: Get a date with  idnic or Judi or This Member
Wait I'm married. Guess I will have to get my wife to OK # 7

1. Make pretty stuff.
2. Beat  Cutter every once in awhile.
3. Achieve a new personal best.
4. Don't let DPC interfere with school.
I refuse to put numbers and ribbons in here, and yes, #4 is a goal for DPC ;-)

I agree. But I figure the only way to do that is to just keep taking pictures until I figure that one out. So 'consistently taking and submitting pictures' is on my list. |

My goals for 2007.....
1 - Remember to renew my membership, as I have now been a member for nearly a year, due to my winning a free membership from alfresco &  sir_bazz (Renewal due by the 22nd January 2007)
2 - Learn as much as I can, so that I can improve to be a much better photography.
3 - Hopefully to improve my average score, closer to a 6 or better.
4 - Dream of winning a ribbon.
5 - Enjoy the DPC friendship, and to comment on as many images as I can.
6 - Learn more about photoshop, especially layers.
7 - Pray our personal life, will improve, re our health situation.
8 - Don't think of giving up photography, (Which I seriously have thought about lately) due to my health issues, as I am finding it harder and harder, to get about. Please give me more time, as I still have so much I want to do and achieve, re photography.
9 - Count my blesings, that I am here, each and everyday.
10 - To try and live my life, by my Quote for life: (see below)

1. score a 7+
2. enter at least one challenge a month
3. get a 50-500 sigma for those surf shots, and a fisheye for fun.
4. learn how to capture the spirt / essence of a person in a portrait
5. shoot at least one wedding and pray Grigri girl and Pedro dig my work (those two are by far my fav. wedding fotogs)
6. discover what y'all know about photoshop without cursing too much in the process ;) lol
7. Figure out how to take pictures that will entice Pedro to add me to his fav fotog list ..dude is hard to impress!!
8. meet up with those Krazy Europeans again.. cuz dayum that was hella fun!!!

Now that I've just quit my full time job I hope to be able to enter challenges on a more regular basis .. period!!! LOL

I'm seriously, Don.
And I´m not talking about winning a brown ribbon with a 10 from you. It's a big challenge, maybe the biggest challenge, catching a hight score from you and still having the votes from the majority.
If that'll happen, I think I'll have a superior photo. |

My 2007 goals:
Enter at least one challenge a week
Enter all monthly Free Studies
Score a +7
Be chosen af fav. photographer by at least 50 people (27 today)
Have at least 200 fav. pix chosen (90 today)
Raise my average to at least 5.9 (5.6855 today)
Win a ribbon |

Tell me about it! I think it took me about 3 years! :-) The challenge now is to keep up to his standards so he doesn't change his mind and delete me. ;-P
Okay, I seemed to do pretty well with my goals for 2006 so I'll try this again. The only one left on my list from 2006 that I didn't accomplish was to raise my average to a 6.0. I only went from a 5.5442 to 5.6862. So carrying that one forward, here are my new goals for 2007:
1. Get my average vote recieved up to 6. (Currently at 5.6862)
2. Add a Blue and Red ribbon to my 2 Yellows.
3. Beat my highest rated score of 7.6108.
4. Get to 500 Faved photographs by others.
5. Get to 130 Faved photographer by others.
7. Actually complete my Photo-A-Week project.
6. Continue going to GTG's to meet even MORE DPC'ers!
Of course, these are all just for fun. :-)

I hear ya! Pedro and a handful of others are hard to impress. It's my secret goal to make some of their lists too :)
Goals for 2007
Score above a 7.5
Score above an 8.0 (dreaming)
Get to 100 faved photographer by others
Get to 300 faved photographs by others
To be more active in threads and make more friends (to help with above goals ;)
To vote more and leave more comments
To ribbon with a photograph other than a portrait
To travel to at least one GTG outside of Georgia
