How many more. It doesn't count unless you are specific. :P

Hey, there are three days left in the year. I'm starting out "big picture" and working toward the details :)

Number two...post a score in a challenge higher that the Icelanders.

I'm dreaming big ;)

1) Enter at least once a month. Which really shouldn't be that hard.
2) Ribbon

Pretty sure I can at least do 1). 2) probably not.

I dunno... This year I kindof set the bar very high, or so I thought and I kindof blasted all my goals out of the water so I donĀ“t really know what to do for 2007, I had two ideas but I kindof fulfilled two of them accidentally in the last month or so.

Anyone have any suggestions for me?

I know one goal so far: beat Larus in a challenge, then do a little superiority dance and stick my tongue out at him.

Well, I have been thinking about this for a while. Here is what I have so far. My real goal is to keep learning, but that isn't really something you can cross off of a list.

Goals for 2007:
Break the 6.5 barrier.
To get my Photojournalism II entry out of my top 4.
Have a photo chosen as 5 people's favorite.
Improve my Photoshop skills.
Take a better photo for my profile.

How much to get Larus to submit a dud?
12/29/2006 01:38:31 AM · #16
In no specific order:

1) Renew my membership or write twelve tutorials
2) Score a 7.*
3) Top 5
4) Ribbon
5) Get a date with Cindi :-)

I think there should be an official DPC poll concerning number 5 :-)

Now that would be enough to buy me (maybe), but I think not Larus.

For myself:

- Perform 100 Critique Club comments
- Submit to 25 challenges
- Get that 6.25 score I have been chasing
- Get a top 20 score

Get a couple of blues
Get a couple of reds
Get a few yellows and some honourable mentions
Never score under 5.5
Take my average over 6.0 from 5.95
Give away a couple of memberships to deserving people
make 11,000 more meaningful comments
Get to 4000 comments received
be a fave of over 200
Have 500 favourite images
Meet some people from dpc and do some shooting with them
go to Kenya again
world peace

nothing much else ;-)

I think I'll have better luck with my goal #5 than you guys have with getting Larus to submit a dud.

Great that sounds like what my company calls S.M.A.R.T. goals

S - specific, significant, stretching

M - measurable, meaningful, motivational

A - agreed upon, attainable, achievable, acceptable, action-oriented

R - realistic, relevant, reasonable, rewarding, results-oriented

T - time-based, timely, tangible, trackable

Surprising that you have such a corporate bent ;P.
