Well, here's my comments after playing with mine for awhile. I am not pleased with it's ability indoors. The autofocus is extremely slow compared to my Minolta SLR's and this makes it very hard to shoot indoor sports shots. I have to set the ISO at 100 and there is too much noise to make me happy. Now I am still trying to find the happy medium for setting up the external flash so that can account for some of the issues I have. On a positive note, it is nice to have the massive zoom range that gives me unlimited composition options. It's nice to be able to cover a whole soccer game without switching lenses and/or camera bodies. Hopefully the outdoor performance will justify this purchase. It also is nice being able to take tons of pictures without worrying about the cost. I just download the ones I like, clean them up in printshop and output them to my Epson 750, easy!
