Thanks! :) I'll put you down as line 7 for now (with Achoo and Larus in) cos I think 1 line each to start is fair, and if we're struggling for participants towards the end I'll give you line 8 as well :)

Yeh that would work, if not just send the video and I can rip it :)

If I can figure out a way to make a digital sound recording I'll have a go at Line 21 ... that number always reminds me of the license plate I saw referenced in a newpaper article once:

O2B21 -- Ben can't relate to this yet ... : )

What file format and specs do you want?
12/21/2006 03:24:54 PM · #31
It's 18 in this country :P
Any file format should be fine, whatever has the best quality while keeping it at a size you can easily email :)

A phalange is a phalanx. :P (do you know hard it is to rhyme with challenge???)

I'll do the nasty lines that nobody volunteers for (as opposed to the line that Nobody volunteers for).

It is a finger (or toe), or more properly one of the three bones which comprise the finger past the palm (those are metacarpals); plural form is phalanges, phalanx is singular. It's also an ancient military formation, and several other things as well:

1. (in ancient Greece) a group of heavily armed infantry formed in ranks and files close and deep, with shields joined and long spears overlapping.
2. any body of troops in close array.
3. a number of individuals, esp. persons united for a common purpose.
4. a compact or closely massed body of persons, animals, or things.
5. Military. (initial capital letter) a radar-controlled U.S. Navy 20mm Gatling-type gun deployed on ships as a last line of defense against antiship cruise missiles.
6. (in Fourierism) a group of about 1800 persons, living together and holding their property in common.
7. Anatomy, Zoology. any of the bones of the fingers or toes.
–verb (used without object) 8. Printing. to arrange the distribution of work in a shop as evenly as possible.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Origin: 1545–55; < L < Gk phálanx military formation, bone of finger or toe, wooden roller]
