Here is a VERY compelling ongoing experiment that one photographer is doing with just a Polaroid camera.

For 7 years he has been taking shots with his Polaroid, and each successive shot shows the previous photo somewhere in the frame. (I know, it sounds confusing.) So, in essence, every single picture he's taken in this group is included in the new photos he produces. It's definitely worth a look.

Beyond the "gimmick" he's using, some of the photos are just stunning in their simplicity.

What a very interesting and clever concept. A fun ongoing project as well.

truly bizarre, yet unique enough to be interesting. I wonder at the thought process. I love what he has done with some of the subject matter. :)

Super cool idea. His London images are really nice, too.

Polaroid has long been used in fine art photography.

I would hesitate to call them cheap though, most Polaroid film is pretty pricy per shot.

Wow! what a wonderful concept. I should try that.

Great concept. I think I will try doing it by including my "next" photo in the shot. I admit there are some details to work out :-)

There is a neet contest every year in Michigan sponsored by Big Idea magizine. (It;s a publication for the advertising industry) They call it the Red rubber Ball. They give you a red beachball and a disposable camera. The only rules are that every shot you take have to contain the Red rubber ball and must be shot with the disposable camera. They then have a big gallery event to showcase the photos and give out awards. It's a great time!! Kinda along the same lines.

What a fun competition!

They could even do a challenge like that .... pick an specific object that everyone would have, and then create a photo that MUST contain the object.
