Am back on the OOH 'on call list' tonight but will ring T later to see how she is. Had a couple of text messages and she seems a little low today :( Clot on the brain has been ruled out and the (last) diagnosis was a viral infection in the blood around her brain and lungs????

She still can't walk and is having some physio - there is talk about her coming home next week but, if she can't walk she wont be :(

I'll update you all later. Oh, and is it possible to see the Aurora Borealis in Europe? When T is back on her feet again (literaly) we are going to try and drive to see it in the BRC :)

*update*

Its actually quite difficult giving updates here, I try to keep things factual as I know lots of you are thinking of her and then when T is back I know she will be reading it (am sure you understand).

So, best I can say tonight is (imho) T is uncomfortable. She is still on the same ward but has been moved to a side room (read isolation). MRI results are not in but it seems as if she has a viral infection on her brain and lungs (something to do with blood vessels).

T normally does the itinerary for our little trips and seems quite pleased I will be organising our 4k mile Norway trip (she may well regret that lol). All being well it will be in the summer of 2008 so plenty of time for me to work out more than the ferry timetable lol

T did say that they 'think' they know whats what and if they are right its very rare (seen a couple of times at the hospital) so have started treating her for that, the MRI results should give a better diagnosis.

Sorry, can't help doing an analogy of T's predicament and the voters here - everybody seems to see a picture differently and the MRI is a dq request, lets hope the SC validate the image ;)
