Its been covered many times that trolls do not exist. This "troll" element is nothing more than a random event that actually cannot happen and your score is still higher though it appears to have decreased and there is no way of determining what caused the movement as trolls, I mean "Icky entity voting anomolies" cannot be responsible because we cannot admit there is an undesirable element that is insincere and lacking integrity when they vote. I hope I made that clear. Have you checked the calibration of your monitor? ;-)

As for all the comments about the "huge" drops being so incredibly awful ...
Remember that we've seen very few votes so far. In a normal challenge, we'll be getting 5-8 times as many as have voted so far.
The fact that everyone is dropping simply means that the people who have voted today aren't as generous as those who voted first last night. No big deal, and no reason to start complaining about unfair voters.
I mean, my drop means that the first 16 averaged 6.45 while the second 16 averaged 5.8. Not exactly a "lowball" average!

I've never had a score drop this rapidly...
5.9 to 5.3 in just a few hours. If it keeps up at this rate, I'll be at 3.0 pretty soon. |

No offense meant, but after 4 years, I've got a pretty good grip on what is a typical "drop" on my pictures for the first day, and what is not. Today has definitely been atypical. It does indeed always drop on the first day of voting, and then will climb throughout the week. Then, on the last day of voting, it may drop a smidgeon, but a lot of times it keeps climbing.
So, I figure I'm just in a big drop right now. My spots entry dropped all day on the last day of voting, and apparently the photography muses didn't think it dropped enough, so they let my perspective entry pick up where spots left off and continued the decline.
So far, I'm not complaining, but if it goes below 6, I'm gonna be sad. :( |

Looks like my postcard and perspective are gonna reach the same score soon.
Postcard started at 4.6 and is now 5.23
Perspective started at 5.6 and is now 5.33
Be interesting if Postcard ends up higher than Perspective.
Neither score is good, but I had thought this morning that the perspective showed promise.
