WOW, a great challenge especially with the super high scores, incredible.

Oh ya and thanks to the person who requested a DQ evaluation on mine, sure wish I knew why and what it was about. Looks like it was validated after-all.

The magic 7 number was 11! Holy Crap, this was a crazy high scoring challenge!!

Yeah. I seem to hit my high scores at the same time as everyone else. I gotta figure out how to get out of sync!

Thanks for all the nice comments everybody! Didn't think I'd hit 7.75 in the end, but wow :) New e-volt record I guess ;) Congratulations to everyone else!

PS: I've also added my original now.

WOW. WHAT is tone mapping? I'm blown away by the difference between original and final.

See the HDR challenge and the threads about it. Tone mapping is used to display 32 bit high dynamic range into 16 bit or 8 bit low dynamic range which is what monitors can display.

ETA: Isn't it quite the transformation? Not only do landscapes hold a distinct advantage as is now with this HDR/tone mapping they will be even tougher to beat. Maybe Larus can help supply us with super models?
