This is a great idea...well here's my list even though most of the things aren't exactly reasonable

1. 2+ GB flash card

2. Some more feedback on the photos from my first event, can be seen here

3. An 8x12 glossy print of //www.dpcprints.com/print.php?IMAGE_ID=381692

4. A reflector (the larger the better)

5. A light tent, any size

6. Remote control for my camera

7. A tripod that is sturdier/better than $40 quantaray one I have now

8. The "Tetons and the Snake River, Grand Teton Nationl Park 1942" Ansel Adams print (not original of course) can be found at this site

9. 4+ GB portable flash drive

10. Padded lens case (or two) for my 28-75 and my 50 mm f/1.8

Happy Holidays everyone

1. The videogame "lighthouse" (my brother used to love this game and the cd broke)

2. a electronic picture frame for my grandma so i can upload pictures of our whole family (she doesn't get to see us often)

3. anything for a 350D, I got one ordered and know hardly anything about photography so anything 350D related would be sweet, anything really even like a wrist strap, extra battery w/e. Doesn't matter to me.

4. Maybe some photography books so i can learn all the in's and out's of my new camera. Maybe books about lighting and stuff, i dunno lol.

5. Any old flash/lighting equipment that maybe you dont use.

Thanks in advance people, merry early christmas.

You can download a 3000x2402 pixel version of that photo from wikipedia commons - its apparently in the public domain becasue it was commissioned by the national parks The_Tetons_and_the_Snake_River

Yay! I came home today to an extra fun package from the lovely Jutilda (who, her return address labels inform me, supports the AHA...good for her)! Christmas starts early at the K household. Thanks, Judy. :)

Just finished the last packet of Tim Tams here - literally :-/ God I could do with a decent meat pie :-( Sort of overloaded a little a few months when I was back in Oz but it wore off already.

Thanks for that thought - not! :-)

Geeze I spent half a day..(at work..shushhhh) reading all of these...so I'm gonna give it a try...and then see if the few that I could help...are still in need (or want).

1)Peace & happiness for all.

2)Good health for those who need it and deserve it...and also for those who don't deserve it..it is the holiday season ;)

3)To have my 2 children home for the holidays
My son is in the Navy and my daughter is in the Army.

4)This is a biggie....A Canon EOS 350D Rebel XT body so I can have it converted to IR.

5)To have an 8x10 or any size of "Breezy Sunset" by gaurawa ... it's an amazing shot!

6)To help grant someone else's wish

7) I would also love to recieve postcards...from everyone with a photo that they actually took!

8) To become a better photographer!

9) Meet new friends on this site.

10) And last but not least.....Find the fountain of youth!!!

Okay...I'm off to check others lists!

Ok, I've sent the Remote Controller to konador today :D

NOW I feel I can wish for something too. It sure feels good to give!!

- Colored filters for flashes (40 x 40 cm? something like that)

- It would be awesome to receive some license plates (you know, the ones at the back and front of your car) from all over the world.

- CF-card, 1 or 2 GB

Well, that's it I guess. I'm a happy girl, don't need much ;-)

Shot this with my new 50mm/f1.8 II and Sigma EF-500 flash. I couldn't find a backpack that would fit my 17" widescreen laptop, so I bought modular padding for the camera and lenses to put into my existing laptop backpack.

Thanks Art ROFLMAO for the Woody and camo ducky.

Hmmmmm....Christmas. I don't really need ten things. I can definitely think of two I would love to have:

1: ANY lens for a Nikon!!! College has stripped me of cash and I want a new lens to play with!! Prime, zoom, short, long, anything! I know someone has a lens they don't use anymore! DONE!!! Thank you thank you alfresco!!!! I can't wait to get the lens!!!!

2: A remote for a D80! The 2 second self timer is killing me!!

Happy holidays, happy hannukah, merry christmas, happy/merry Chrismakah, and cheers to everyone else!
