David Shuster predicts Michigan over OSU 28-24.

Meeechigan

Sounds good to me.

I'll be watching Notre Dame v Army and switching to the Mich v OSU game.

Rooting for Michigan so when Notre Dame beats USC we can have a ND v Mich national championship so the Irish can take revenge for that beating from Michigan earlier this year.

GO IRISH!!!

I will be rooting for michigan in this game and hoping for a michigan vs notre dame rematch for the title but I am not sure how likely either is.

I love in Columbus but not really a big OSU or Michigan fan. Our Saturday evening service at church though - which normally starts at 6pm - is moving its start time up to 7:30.

I don't follow college ball much, but I will watch this one for sure. I'll root for Michigan, just cause they're closer.

I love anywhere I can! ;-)

Tim - the first graphic in your sig line doesn't show. Just the broken graphic symbol. Is it in your private folder or something? If it is, it probably shows for you but not for anyone else. Unless it's supposed to be that way and i just don't get it. Always a possibility.

Just though you'd like to know.

Thanks - I must have accidentally deleted that image when I did some portfolio housecleaning.

Even though I live in Michigan, I'm not necessarily a U of M fan.

However, I will be rooting for the Wolverines since every time I go to Ohio, I get some kinda of intestinal distress.

Being a hardcore SPARTAN fan to the core, I have no choice but to say GO OSU! You will never see me jump on the Wolverine train...

I thought that if they already played this year they couldn't be in the championship game together...

that is not a rule. it wouldn't happen most likely if teams play towards the end of the season like a rematch of Michigan and OSU since nothing will have changed on the teams but since theNd and Mich game was months ago it could happen, although i figure arkansas needs to beat florida, Rutgers needs to lose, Nd needs to beat USC and LSU needs to beat Arkansas for ND to get into the title game.

Notre Dame isn't playing USC, they play Army. USC is playing California (a ranked team). And Florida is also ranked ahead of ND. RIGHT behind ND there's also Rutgers, Arkansas, WV, Wisconsin, Lousville and LSU, all with only 1 loss. And Boise State might go undefeated but not be in the top 10.

I think if ND wins out they'll jump FLA since USC is higher than FLA, assuming USC wins this week. Of course the human polls hate ND this year so you never know. LSU beating beating ARK, and ARK beating FLA would help, but it shouldn't matter. Of course, this is a domer talking. ;-)

And #1 plays #2 regardless of previous match ups and conference alignments. SO, if OSU wins say by a point or 2, OSU and MICH could still be 1 and 2 and play for the championship. It could happen but probably won't.

The only way ND can play for the National Championship is if Fla AND USC lose (which I don't see happening). Nat'l Champ game is based on BCS rankings, which is determined strictly by computer averages, not 'human polls'. But, there are so many scenarios, it's hard to predict how the computer will place everyone.

P.S. The way you wrote the other post "Nd needs to beat USC and LSU needs to beat Arkansas for ND to get into the title game.", it looks like ND playing USC.

Now THAT would be interesting............

All the sexy Michigan people in the house say "ooooh oh"
Raise the roof!
Ok, well I haven't lived in Michigan for a good 11 years, but it's still "home" to me!

That last post was supposed to be funny. Not nerdy. Just clarifying.

Fla has to play Arkansas and that is a very losable game. i will not be shocked if Fla is the underdog
