I kinda like flash, once i learned how to use it and how to set it right it really has helped my pictures. I read alot at first not to use flash so i struggled with light till i decided to try a slave flash and wow what a difference. After i had the slave a while and i learned how to use it, i then started to mess with the stock flash to see what it could do, its limits and stuff.

I made this cardboard thing with foil on it to bounce the flash off the ceiling. What a difference. Somthing so cheap and easy to make can make a big difference in how the shot looks.

in this shot, the top pic is the stock flash in an auto or "P" mode, the bottom is the foil cardboard bounced off the ceiling.

And this is what the board thing looks like, the shape i just chose somthing. Other shapes may work better i dono.
