I was working on my photographs from the Texas State Fair and I ran across this and I thought it was funny.

Just thought I would share it.

"Create a photographic version of a cartoon" would be a fun challenge, just as you've done it -- photograph plus text-balloons.

There's at least one other photo site which posts a (non-entered) example photo with each challenge topic.

I'd change the caption on that one:

Have you seen the movie animation (Chicken Run)?
use a quote from it like "Which come first the chicken or the egg?"
or "We got to be organized, we dont want to be chicken pie!"

I'd keep your caption but shift the thought-balloon to originate at either the baby or the grandma.

That's good.
I was also going to put a caption on the little boy looking down that said:

"Hey Dad, he's wearing sneakers just like yours"

Poor litle horses!

I think something a little more subtle in the balloon would work better for the horse one, instead of the blatant explanation of what they were doing, maybe something like, "On the count of three.. 1, 2..." or something similar.
