I'm thinking about this lens for roughly the $600US mark (brand new with warranty):

Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM AF Lens

Anyone have this lens? Good or bad? Other choices I should look at? I want it mostly for hockey games.

Thanks,
Brian

I recently got this lens (at the beginning of the summer) and absolutely love it! I've used it for football, basketball, and volleyball games and the photos turn out great. The image stabilization works really really well even at long distances and keeps everything sharp even without a tripod.
Hope this helps, and any other questions you have please feel free to ask!!
