The OOBIE sucker, awarded by Team Minus of the Suck League, is presented to an "Out Of the Box" entry in a DPChallenge, something that meets the challenge in a creative fashion that DPC voters might not have properly appreciated.
The latest motto of the Suck League: "Put in the picture you love. Suck means never having to say you're sorry!" Available suitably matted and framed for an appropriate price.

Thats YapPtastic!!! I would like to thank a few people(pulls out scrunchy piece of paper from my pocket). When I began shooting photography I was using something called advantix film that made sweet panos and my yashica looked like a mini video camera. I then moved on to my first digital theSony Mavica CD500 and discovered DPC and hid in the shadows voting and ogling the amazing shots. Then one fateful day 4/20/05, I left the camera in a cab in San Francisco and was cameraless until Good Guys was going out of business 7 months later and I got my first DSLR, the Nikon D50 and dedcided it was time to start trying this site out again, and I never thought I would ever win an Yappie, (I don't think they existed yet :P). I'd like to thank my loving girlfriend who allows me to check my scores and comments when we get home from dates and only gets slightly annoyed that my camera is omnipresent in our lives. (Music is already starting to play and the producer is telling me to cut it short) I'd like to thank Levyj413 for nominating me for this award, especially since a few months earlier I had gone on a rant about how no one ever appreciated my long linky comments to get their shots ready for challenges, well I guess I was wrong you guys love me, you really love me!!
Seriously Thanks everyone and I will find a spot for my Yappie. |
