Not quite snappy enough. This falls under the category of product photography which needs to be very bright and seductive.

Appears to be soft, maybe adjust the aperture a stop or two to give just a bit more depth and use a sweeter spot in your lens. I would suggest a bit more contrast and color saturation. Maybe offset the subject slightly to the right to help balance the shadow.

The sticker bending around the back needs to go. Everything in this photo should be either the subject or complimentary, no distractions.

You're on the right track, the seemless backdrop is setup well.
Lighting is good.

The red keeps the photo from being too flat between the greyish glass and the flat grey background.

Really need sharper focus on the lollipops to make them stand out.

Edit: said lollipops, not quite sure what those things are with the toothpicks through them.

i think this is some kind of product photography test or something,, i think the red stuff need to be more in focus and have more detial

Used to live right near where you took a Sydney photo - Wooloomooloo.

Get some good shots - it's a beautiful place.

dewdodesign What are those little things? I thought lollipops but they are on toothpicks I think.
