Hi. I am ready to buy a DSLR, and I was wondering how long I should wait to buy the XT to get the best deal? Would waiting a month or two be best to save a little bit of $ or should I just buy now? I don't mind waiting as I've already waited this long anyway..so that's not a problem.

Thanks so much!

Thank you! I'll do that. Do you think buydig is a good place to buy from?

I purchase through B&H photo and never had a problem. Look at these deals.

Canon 350XT body only: 599.95

w/ Kit lens: $ 689.95

They even have used starting at $499.95

Hope this helps.

buydig is cheaper because the kit lens they include is a non-USM lens. It's not a completely awful lens, but it's not nearly as good as the kit lens you'll get if you buy from B&H, just as an example.

ETA: nevermind..it looks like B&H includes the non-USM lens as well

buydig in general is a reliable place to order from. I got my camera through them and the order went very smoothly....no complaints from me!

Before you buy anything online make sure you check Resellerratings.com, if the price looks to good to be true then stay away. For example in the link above the lowest price is from Century21 Electronics which has a rating of 0.94 over 10, yes 0.94!!!! I'd stick with B & H .

True anytime you buy online use caution. Also for these cameras check the warranty
If you are in the usa make certain the warranty is also for the usa.

I've purchased 2 cameras from buydig.com. They are excellent. They have extremely low prices, and are very reputable.
