Went to the store to purchase a wide angle lens. Read reviews on the Sigma 10mm-20mm f4-5.6 and the Tokina 12mm-24mm f4. Both had great reviews, so I wanted to try them out. The guy at the store had the Sigma but didn't have the Tokina. He had a Promaster which looks just like the Tokina. So I wonder if they are one-in-the-same.

I was told by several people that promaster and tamron are the same, don't know about tokina.

Thanks for replies. I actually went with the Sigma for the 2mm extra on the wide end.
