Wow, they're getting more crazy. I hate this show, and love it at the same time, more love it though...
Did he pull out the guy's brain and put a piece into his own somehow? I guess that's the deal with the slashing up stuff later on... |

That's the same line of thought I'm having. And thus we know who the bad guy is now.

Sci Fi channel, but I don't know when. I haven't missed an episode yet! GREAT show--tonight's was excellent and really explained a lot. Of course, I'm still confused beyond belief, but that's okay. It keeps you guessing... |

I still don't understand how having multiple personalities qualifies as having "special abilities." Granted, her other personality is quite the bad ass, but still.

I sorta agree, but if your multiple personality is your dead sister, well, now we're getting somewhere. Jessica knew things that Nicole couldn't have.

Yeah, that's a good point.
Why didn't Niki acknowledge that her split personality was her dead twin when she was talking to her in the mirror? I know that the producers like to have these revelation episodes, but it seems like that would have been an ideal time to reveal that secret. |

Sometimes I think writers are only two episodes ahead of us. Seems to be that way on a lot of TV shows. I call it lazy writing.

| Commercials keep saying that next week is the last episode until the new year, but does anyone know when that actually means? Are we looking at another Lost situation, in that it won't be back on the air until Feb? |

| Yeah, I hope they come back in January. Jericho is done until February, which really sucks! They left a BUNCH of cliffhangers on that show. One month of re-runs isn't too bad. |

February is a sweeps month so I won't be surprised if "January" means the last week of the month.

Nikki probably didn't acknowledge her dark side as being her dead sister because her sister died at the age of 11 (aren't we only assuming they were twins - has there been any actual proof that they were identical twins??) So the other "person" she saw in the mirror looked nothing like her sister when she last saw her (even if her sister was an identical twin).
The split may just be Nikki dealing with the loss and what her dad did to her sister - it may not be her dead sister is somehow part of her (seems like it, but who knows?). Maybe she can only use the power when the split personality takes over kind of like Issac can only paint when high (at least for now). Maybe both Nikki and Isaac will learn how to use their powers without those crutches. Who knows.
As for how this qualifies as a special ability, I note that Nikki/Jessica tore the four guys playing poker, who had guns and fired shots at her, into pieces in under 10 seconds. And of course there were other improbable murders...but IMO we got the best info from the poker game killings. In any event, she definitely has ability beyond simply a split personality or general bad-ass-edness. :-)
Hoping the show comes back in early January. Haven't heard any exact date... |

this is true. one of the poker guys was actually torn in half and i don't care how angry you get that isn't possible, even with a sword she just wouldn't have the strength(unless of course tarantino wrote it) |

Can Hiro make things from the past come into the present? ie. The T-Rex. Or, does he travel back to the Dinosaurs by accident. I guess that's how he get's his sword, but does he know how to use it?
Peter's power is scary. He must come in contact with the Radioactive guy (whereabout's unknown) or maybe it's some type of 'switched places' dream, another power. What if he meet's Nikki/Jessica? Can't he also take Sylars power and absort other powers and keep them.
Man, Jan. 22nd is way too long to wait. I am glad this show exists. I don't watch anything else on TV except the Office. It's all junk.
Hope you guys can make it until January. I know I am already suffering some withdrawls.

hehe... this could be true.
i have a feeling this won't be quite what we think. rather than a real dino, it will probably be an amusement park animatronic or something.
we'll see...
like  tonyt, i was guessing that either peter gets near radioactive guy and can't control it, or better, than syler gets to radioactive guy first, peter confronts syler and they both blow up...
nice to see that the haitian has decided not to be just a puppet. shame about eden, though. my boss thought she had the best of all the powers...
here's to jan 22nd... may it come quickly...

i agree with this in principle, but so far the show has kind of surprised me.
when they start wearing tights and hanging out in their secret headquarters in the abandoned warehouse with the giant "troubalert" computer is when i'm out of here.
still...i wish they'd hurry up. i'm starting to get a little impatient like the way i did with "lost." |
