4.7 something and yet I had over half of my votes 5 and above... problem is some people way lowballed my score for some reason!!! grrr... I should have done better... what did I do to draw the ire or 20ish voters?

I should be satisfied considering it's only my 2nd entry, but a 6 woulda been nice. ;)
I also felt mine was a little underrated.

Hey, I'm sorry for hijacking your thread--I thought this was going to be an "underrated" Morning entries type post.
I liked the way the bowl of cereal was shot, but I thought the background was a bit dull and busy. I think maybe with a window and a blue sky as a bakdrop it would've lookd nice. Or just generally a more solid background.

Meh... Ya it was maybe a dul morning... but hey, up north where I am this time of year I get up when it's dark and get home when it's dark, and mornings can just be that dull... Mini wheats and coffee, and quite so you don't wake anyone else up... guess nobody got it (bad editing aside)...

this photo in my opinion was lucky to get higher than a 4. it is just very unexciting, nothing draws you in to look at the photo and keep looking. Besides the editing to the counter, the cereal is not very sharp, and the background is not blurred enough.
