Type A personalities. You gotta love them. They are the type that in their opinion are the best and everyone else, no matter what their ability is, is on a lesser level. Some examples of type A's would be Fighter pilots, Artists, Paramedics, Photographers...8)

Interesting: this is the definition that I recognize (which apparently is from the American Psychological Association)

"Type A behavior is characterized by an intense and sustained drive to achieve goals and an eagerness to compete. Personalities categorized as Type A tend to have a persistent desire for external recognition and advancement. They are involved in various functions that bring about time restrictions. Such personalities have a tendency to speed up mental and physical tasks with extraordinary mental and physical alertness. These characteristics make for super-achievers and high-powered people."

where does that say anything about anyone else being on a lesser lever?

P

ps I know you were only being facetious. I'm merely demonstrating how my Type A personality has placed you on a lower level than me.

pps here's a fun
Personality Test you can take to find out (I scored a 56 by the way...a liiiittle Type A)

scored a 79. Obviously this thread includes me. Since I insist on my socks being folded a certain way and my shirts pressed, it shouldn't surprise me that a type A lurks within. It is however important to "relax". Photography is the best escape I have. It allows me the permission to "not follow the rules". I credit it with my sanity.

26! Hmmm... did I lie or something? Didn't know I was that laid back. Oh well... going with the flow.

A type "B" is calm, doesn't get angry no matter how many 1's their challenge entry gets...

Your score = 24

What does your score mean?
You seem to be far from having a Type A personality. Your attitude to life is more of the "smell the roses" kind. You know how and when to relax. The hostile, aggressive and competitive part of you surfaces rarely. You are easy to be around, and people tend to feel relaxed and comfortable in your presence. It's a very healthy attitude towards life. Just make sure you don't miss important opportunities because of being too cool and relaxed. Picking up a challenge and competing a little bit for your place in the sun can add some spice to your life.

Laid back until you tick me off ;)

Results of Your Type A Personality Test
Personality Type

Your score = 68

What does your score mean?
You seem to be in the middle between the Type A and Type B personality. In this case, the middle ground is good. Your attitude to life is more of the "smell the roses" kind and you know how and when to relax. Nonetheless, you realize that picking up a challenge and competing a little bit for your place in the sun can add some spice to your life. The equilibrium is important, so don't let your hostile, aggressive, and competitive alter ego take over too often. Generally, you are easy to be around, and people tend to feel relaxed and comfortable in your presence. Yours is a very healthy attitude towards life.

ARGGGHHHH!!!! some people got a higher score then me :-) j/k A fun test to take

LOL I just took the test and it is so good. I am accused of being passive/agressive, also been told I have both type A and B personalities. I scored a 62 on the test. here is what it said about me...

38. I have to say it depends on the situation. In everyday life I am a total "B" personality, until I meet a challenge I like, then the type "A" comes out. For me it's one extreme or another.
