Teammates, here are two designs for a new logo for our team for the WPL 3rd season, which reflect the team name more than the old one does. Can't say which one I prefer, so it is up to you - what do you think?

I can't decide. The first one's more compact an clearer, but I like the colours and font of the second one better.

Hi new team members :)
I`m looking forward to WPL3, hopefully we can do even better in season 3.
Gilles i see your not a payed up member which will limit you from 1 less challenge each week. It`s worth joining to give you more challenge options.
I`m not sure about the logos, i still like the old one, well the colours on it at least.

C'mon guys, have an opinion... I prepared a first trading card, too. If you like it, just post the # of the pic you want to be included in yours. I can of cause still change the logo.

hmmm. I might have to agree with Marbo. If we change our logo, the imagery should "make sense". The magnifying glass and the hound are cool, but I don't see the correlation to photography too much. What we have currently is simple and colorful and purposely isn't using graphic design to make the viewer really be engaged. It is straightforward. Keep up the ideas though. We will make this a majority vote though, so hopefully everyone else chimes in.

The only photo i have of myself is my profile pic, is that any good.
I go out of my way to avoid taking photos of people :)

IMHO we should keep our logo as it is (it did us proud for nigh on 3 months), either that or change our name as well? I'm pretty sure the logo will be remembered longer than individual team members. I like both your logos Oliver but (for me) our current logo is the one for me ;)

colors can be changed easily, if the majority wants it.

I'd say both of my designs HAVE some relationship, the magnifying glass is, at the end of the day, just a MACRO LENS, the pointer (hound) logo is a NEGATIVE IMAGE in a 4:3 frame. Think I must not explain where there's a relationship to the name...

Don't know on whose toes I step now, but IMHO the old logo is not simple or straightforward, it looks "amateurish" and that's exactly what we are not. Also wouldn't say, blue, red and gray is really colorful ;-)

I'm pretty sure at least some of us will be remembered longer than ANY team. If anything of our team will be remembered, it is the name (though I think, our photographs should be)

Just thought, as it's not the same team as in WPL 2 (the captain aside, half of the team has changed), it should be visible we are fresher, better, and more professional than ever...

Let's wait for the other team members opinions - I don't bother if the new logo is the old one, but I think it doesn't really "meet the challenge"
