I haven't seen a good score posted all morning. Looks like this might be a low-scoring one all around...
Mine is at 5.7; I totally expected 6.3 - 6.5 for it.

Man, I struggled with what to submit on this one. I had what I thought was a really creative idea. I set it up, shot it, experimented, changed it, shot it again and liked what I had. Then I just fired off a couple that were far less creative, more traditional portait type photography.
When I finally got to editing, I didn't know what to do. The creative shot was much cooler, but the execution didn't seem as strong. My wife really liked the very traditional shot. We talked about it and in the end I went with the second shot. Here's what I'm getting:

Ahhh! Did I make the wrong choice! Here's the other shot:
What would you do in this situation? More creative but risky, or traditional and solid especially when you are not sure that people will even like the creative one. Apparently the traditional one isn't doing well either...

The voting is still young. There are still 6 1/2 more days for scores to quack-er crank up.
Still voting, but I have seen alot of good compositions and some quite entertaining ones too!
Anyway my scores are currently:

And that is up from 5.4 early this morning then it went up, then it went down, then up again. The scores are swinging erraticly right now.

just finished scoring...there were about three good images in that lot...very disappointing...a couple were funny, some were OK, but 90% were really poor...what does everyone else think?

| Am I right or wrong? Two things go on at this place. Friends vote high for friends ( which is understandable but not conductive to growth)but I guess an alliance is needed to combat the worms who give out 1's and 2's to lower superior post's scores. Are these the Trolls? |
