Funny story... I'm at the zoo and walk over to the gorilla exhibit. Two young women with small children (maybe ages 2 and 4) are having a discussion. Says the first, "Is it a male or female?", the second, "I'm not sure but they should make them wear diapers or something, let's get the kids out of here before they see this. It's like monkey porn." ROFLMAO!!!!

Why would they tie his foot up like that? or did he just get tangled in something?

I don't think its tied, it looks like a "flare" (wrong word I know) or something.

Edit: I bet its a reflection, just occured to me that this was probably shot through glass.

It is a reflection through glass. And she is hanging on to a pipe with her toes. I just can't get over the prude-ism (I know that's not a real word) of people who are so young. I did make the remark to them as they were walking away that if it was a male, they would have been able to tell. LOL.
